One of the handful of posters I really look forward to seeing posts from. As always it looks like a heck of an adventure hunt for you and the dog, good shooting!

Tikka, wow very nice hunt. Looks like South Island in that pic. I spend 6 months there on the North Island, near Hamilton. I did get to the South Island but only for a quick two week trip. College kid= QUEENSTOWN!!!
Never got to shoot while I was there back in '99 but I was jealous that even then suppressors were around.
Very cool to see what a bolt gun and Aimpoint can do with the 300 BLK.
About how big on avg were the stags, goats, and what was the other animal?
Also, what happens to all that culled meat? 3000 goats?! You don't have coyotes to come take care of it.

We take whatever meat we want and leave the rest to the blow flys, wasps and hawks.
Red stags weight anywhere from 180 lb to 450 lb . Average 260 lb
We have 4 different breeds of feral goat and most average 50-60 lb
