Long Range Rifle Scope suggestions under $2,000.00

Looking for suggestions for a quality Variable Power Rifle Scope for Long Range. Would like to stay around $1,500.--'ish, but will consider up to $2,000.00 max for scope only. Shopping in the 6-20X50MM and 8.5-25X50MM range must have 30MM or 34MM Tube, and 50MM or larger objective lens. Open to suggestions and advice.

You may want to consider a nice used one. With all of the new reticles that came out over the last year or so, they can be had for
considerably less than new. I landed a nice Kahles 624i a few months ago for 1800 including Tenabrex caps and shipping.

Here you will get a list of long-range scope is a bit above your budget but is a very, very good optic (I have a few Trijicon TR23 including a couple of 5-20x).

I have used the Trijicon TR23 and Burris XTR II scopes a lot and they both have about the same optical quality - but the Burris is better value for money.
