barnes vor-tx 300 blackout ammo

Post by CBrick »

barnes vor-tx 300 blackout 110 or 120 grain for hogs from a 16" non-suppressed barrel? I'm new to the blackout and am in need of some helpful advice.

Not a whole lot of difference. If that were my choice, I'd try a box of each and go with whichever one shot best in my rifle.

Is there anything better out there? I will be reloading in the very near future, but for now will be buying factory ammo.

The Barnes blacktip has been and I think still is the gold standard.

If you handload, be sure you get the 110 grain bullet that is purpose built for the 300blk velocities.

Sorry, didn't mean to imply that it isn't a good choice. The bullets perform very well. However I've found the accuracy less than stellar in several barrels. So my opinion is see which flavor shoots best and go with it. If you hit what you're shooting at, it will work fine.
