If you had $2000 to spend on a hunting rifle

Post by Prada »

If you had 2g to spend on a hunting rifle what would you get. Right now I'm leaning towards a sako 85 finnlight. Might stretch that budget by a hundred or 2.. what else would be in that category

I would probably go with a Gear Head Works One Bolt action pistol in 300 Blk or a similar option.........still love 300 Blk !

If you live where you will not shoot over 350 yds the blk will do about anything you want dependent on bullet selection and how fast you drive it.

But if not that probably something bolt action in 6.5 CM( bc of the market support available bc of its popularity everybody and their brother has one these days including the military in atleast one branch are also adopting it from what ive read a while back) and bc it will do everything i will probably ever do with it and it is affordable to boot with good factory loads at decent prices off the shelf.
(But i would still load my own also.)

I'd put that toward a custom.
You can't beat the mountain, pilgrim. Mountains got its own way.
