I was watching the Sportsman channel today. Poor old Tom didn't even have time to orgasm unless he was real fast. I think I would have at least let him finish with a smile on his beak before blasting him.

To say nothing of letting him pass on his genetics to future generations, especially if he was an old, dominant, Tom. Good way to ensure survival of the least fit, by killing off the most fit while they're procreating.

Probably just a jealous rage. Saw the tom getting some from a "purdy" hen while he can't remember the last time he got some.
