Looks good, stole it for converting naysayers. You done a 208 Amax yet?

I hope that all of the "excess case capacity" and "SEE" thread readers will closely review these photos. Great job!

Resting it in a caliper to show COL would make that a very complete visual aid.
300 Blackout, not just for sub-sonics.

Grow a pair, and cut a live primer.
J/K! That looks pretty good.

I thought the same thing. Analyzing the picture using my precision PowerPoint gauge, I get an OAL to case ratio of 1.48, which translates to a real-world OAL of 2.01" if we assume a 1.358" case. If the case is SAAMI max 1.368", the OAL would be 2.03".
Although I do note Accurate Powders' published loads for the 220gr Sierra Match King show an OAL of 2.089" which may be what we're looking at, since PowerPoint ≠ micrometer...

Good eyes guys.
Took measurements and the actual model round is about .03" shorter than our factory rounds.
I started out with our spec OAL but I'm pretty sure it compressed during the modeling/cut process due to not letting the super glue fully cure?

I guess you guys load your subs shorter than I do. My pet load is as close to the lands as I can get it, at 2.245" OAL.FogFirearms wrote:Good eyes guys.
