Oh I would put that thing up against any big caliber semi-auto. Accurate, adjustable gas, right arm of the free world and all that good sh&t. It just works.

Gunsmith buddy has been trying to talk me into an FAL for years... :roll: Told him this morning that I need to finish some of the projects that I already have.

FOB, the STG handguards with wood stock look great!

Gunplumber's a good dude. I learned a bunch from him about building AKs just from being on a couple of the same forums years ago. But honestly my Saiga .308 will do nearly anything for me that a FAL would do. Though the adjustable gas system would certainly be nice for running suppressed.

Nothing special but I just thought these looked cooler than the other side of the pillow so I shared. Carolina brass set me up with some of their nickel plated brass to go along with my maker 200 Rex's.
