With 55 grain bullets I got right at 1000 FPS out of a 16" barrel with 4.0 grains of Trail Boss. With 70 grain bullets, 5.6 grains of Trail Boss did the trick. Fired out of a suppressed AR they were scary quiet. They didn't even think about cycling the bolt, but that just made them even quieter.

What twist does that rifle have? I am surprised a long 70gr bullet stabilized at 1,000 FPS.

I've a 1/9" barrel that stabilizes 69gr just fine at 1000 ft/sec.
It's a Contender barrel in .22 Squirrel.

Yeah, you're not kidding. Nice work, and thanks for shooting one NOT ON STEEL first. I get frustrated when videos displaying a suppressor shoot on steel every shot, b/c you cannot appreciate how quite the shot actually is hahaha
