Ran 9.8gr n120 with the 203gr at 1.9465” oal today, clocked at 1054 fps out of my 12.5” barrelKyleC wrote: ↑Sat Apr 25, 2020 10:55 amThanks for posting this data. I'm just starting to work with coated lead and this helps. I have some N110 and N120 I'm going to try. Thanks again!certifiable wrote: ↑Sun Apr 19, 2020 8:01 am Thank you Swissy for sending me a butt load of these troublesome projectiles. After expending several hundred during testing I have settled on 11.1gr Accuarate LT-30 as the best all around performing load. Now to dust off the 16" carbine gassed gun and see what happens.

I have not used that particular 180gr bullet but you should be able to work a functional subsonic round with it, if that is your goal. I would suggest trying IMR4227

Great info. I personally love the AA9 powder. I’m having to rework my load due to some tuning I have completed on my rifle. Loading some up now and will be testing tomorrow. Will post what the results are.

Checking published data for 180gr bullets in 300Blk both Hornady and Sierra show the only powder to get near 1800 fps is 1680. They agree on a max load a little over 19gr.
