I shot a charity pistol match last weekend (USPSA) at my home club. After the match they had a raffle (100% of proceeds to Junior Shooter Program), so I bought 10 tickets for $50.
One of my tickets hit pretty early, and low and behold on the table was... a 4lb keg of Lil Gun!
A second ticket hit later on, and I picked up a Safariland Level 2 holster ($45) that fits both of my fullsize M&P Pistols, a pair of earmuffs, and some other swag... I figure my $50 ticket investment paid off in the neighborhood of $150...
I shot like crap in the match... but the raffle made up for all of it!

Powder Score!
Guns are tools designed for dirty work both competitive and defensive. If I meet someone with a well worn gun, I hope their barrel is pointed the same direction as mine if the lead starts flying...
Re: Powder Score!

Re: Powder Score!
i'm terribly unlucky at raffles. had i purchased your 10 tickets, if they would have been drawn as winners, they would have been in the last 15 draws, and i would have gotten stuck with a $5 bag of cleaning patches, a 50 cal muzzle loader brush, a half empty bottle of hoppes, and 10 peices of crushed brass - in a caliber i dont own
