Hey Guys,
Any of you have luck with these Nosler 190's from the shooters Pro shop? I bought a bunch of them and have had great luck with (10 grns) IMR 4227 under them, through my Pistol length LMT.... Getting them for $0.18 each with my Miltary discount. Can't beat the price and the accuracy has been acceptable at 50 yards. I was planning to try 1680 and H110 but I've had 100% functionality with 4227 so why try the others?
This site has been a huge help with my 300 BLK addiction! Thanks fellas!

I use them as well; my last load was only hitting 800 FPS out of an 8" barrel though so I need to tweak it
They are on sale right now $195 for 1,000. And they offer military discounts for those who have or are currently serving.

Re: NOSLER 190's from the Shooters Pro Shop
I started off with 10.2 of A1680 and was getting Avrg 850-860 fps w/8" 1:7 barrel then bumped it up to 10.8 of 1680 Avrg 950-980 fps.. I'll try 11.2 1680 next and see how that does.. All suppressed, cycled prefect w/ bolt hold on last round.. My new favorite plinking round out to 50-60 yrds!skeetman77 wrote:Hey Guys,

Thanks for starting this thread with specific regards to the Nosler 190's.
10.4 of IMR4227. Once fired Gorilla, Gemtech and Barnes brass. CCI 450 primers. All "in an inch" at 50'. Haven't lobbed any out to 100 yet.
Cycles with or without cans for both a 9" factory AAC upper and a 9" AAC barreled Vltor monolithic. (SDN-6 cans)
Don't have a chrono, so don't know the speed. Does not break the sound barrier.
Was also loading the 208 A-max's, but with 10 grains of 4227. Same results.
Worried on both that they're too slow... but have had zero problems to date.

Thanks for the heads-up on the bullets!
Where are you guys finding 1680?

I use 11.6g of Reloader7 as my go to sub load and get chron speeds right at my goal of 1050fps with my 8.2" Aero barrel that has a .109" gas port
And, they give more than just a Military discount... any 'first responder' can apply. I'm just a knuckle dragging firefighter yet I get the discount too.

Re: NOSLER 190's from the Shooters Pro Shop
Reviving an old thread.....
Loaded up a couple hundred of these NOSLER 190's with 10 grns of 1680 at 2.223". Hoping to hit the range with my LMT 10.5" SBR Tomorow after Church.
Also loaded a bunch of the Zombie 123 "booger bullets" with 4.6 grns of trail boss for the REM 700....
Can't wait to see how these work out of the SDN-6.

Re: NOSLER 190's from the Shooters Pro Shop
Working some today trying to come up with a good COAL. I am gonna load 10.8- 11.0- and 11.2 gr of 1680.
Last time I worked loads 11.0 gr 1680 COAL 2.130 were pushing about 950 fps in my 9" but 1100+fps in my 16" barreled AR.
Gonna fish around the threads and try a different COAL.

Let us know what you come up with. I'm @ 2.20 COAL and 11.5gn. That puts me right about 1000fps but it could run more reliably.Chedr wrote:Working some today trying to come up with a good COAL. I am gonna load 10.8- 11.0- and 11.2 gr of 1680.
