Alliant 300-MP load data from Alliant

Post by danner »

I don't have any 300-MP but looked into it and would like to if I can find any. Alliant didn't have any load data for the 300blk so I emailed them about it. A couple of days later I received a reply and thought I would share the response. Maybe this will help someone.

My info has been removed, but the remainder of the email is exactly as received. No barrel length/twist was listed.

A while back, a few members really had some promising results with this. It is very much a magnum pistol powder but seems to create less pressure for the amount of grains vs. H110/W296. It really is a sleeper from all the results I have seen.

About the time people were starting to post results, the supply dried up. Hopefully as things keep returning to more normal supply there will be some available.

Note Nosler's loads below also includes Enforcer. You can get an idea how it stacks up to some known performers

Everything I hear 300-MP is like Lil'Gun without the hot burn.
I'm looking for some.

Is 300 MP bulker than IMR 4227?

ETA, Never mind, looked closer at the chart above.

I think it is odd that Alliant provided data using a Sierra 125gr SPT instead of a Speer 125gr TNT.
Federal, Speer, and Alliant are all under the same umbrella, but Sierra is not part of the group.
