For a boltgun, 6.5gr of Trailboss is the only way to go. Ludicrously quiet.

That's what I was wondering. I have heard 5 grains under a 125gr. Just wasn't sure where to start with the 147gr m80. Thanks I will give that a try.

Now im gonna have to get some 147grs to play with the TrailBoss too...really like the lighter rounds, but need loads for variety...gonna try some A1680 ones and maybe some 4227 too...

A1680 is working for me
How's aboot some load data? 11.5gr?

How about with 147s? I found some cheapo ones, can get 150s for a bit more if I need to.
147-150 the difference is almost nil, there's absolutely no need to choose one over the other due to weight.

Trailboss will fill the case right to the bottom of the neck. OAL is gonna depend on the bullet. With the Hornady 150gr I am at 2.180".

Grrr, how did we get back to bolt guns? They'll cycle anything!
