How often is 1680 available?

? I found some at cabelas last week and order 5lbs. So, how frequently is does 1680 become available. I have alert set at over 10 websites and check the component availability thread daily. Is there some kind of pattern as to what months it's manufactured by accurate? Any method to the madness?

Also do you guys recommend hoarding this stuff when it comes available?

In my experience, it is pretty rare...no set time of year that i have come up with...as far as hoarding, i dont suggest buying more than you think you will need to use in a year of shooting...i grab a pound or two when i see it locally, but if it becomes available online, i try to buy enough to make the hazmat fee less painful...i cant recommend taking up the supply just to buy it, because i wanna see the shelves start to get stocked again...if everyone buys it, even if they dont need it, it takes longer to do that...but if you shoot a LOT of subs, buy it whenever you see it...

I believe that 1680's main component is Easter Bunny pellets.

About 4 or 5 times a year. When it comes up buy as much as you can. I just got a 8lb keg from JM that should last me a while.

It is just as rare as H110. I have never found H110 in over a year. N110 was available at Powder valley for a few days. I did score some 1680 last year. If you have a 600 nitro express or a 50 BMG you can get powder. Otherwise good luck. OOS Out of Stock Not Available whatever on every powder you can think of for the 300 BLK.

8 pounders were available earlier today from Natchez, just now got an email notice and is gone. Since it has been coming around lately watching sites like gunbot will probably pay off.
