Re: A1680
I'm a class 06 manufacturer, so shipping ammo and components is no big deal for me. I'll trade 1# of 1680 for 5k rounds of .22 l.r. plated hollow points. *
*Seriously, all of us are hurting for powder. Good luck on your quest. If I could spare the 1680, I'd give you a good deal on it, but I'm also short on powders.

Powder shipping is a problem because of it being classified HAZMAT. One more regulatory aggravation.

Been buying 1680 for 24.99/lb both from a local vendor (who happens to have a regular table at a regular gun show) AND from local Cabelas store over the past couple of months. Now I know this price is high, but probably close to the "new normal".

Re: A1680
$24.99 seems like the going price around my area for most powders per "pound". I finally found some A1680 (actually my cousin found it for me) and I gave $30/lb for two pounds. He wanted some Trail Boss to work up some .308 Win subsonic loads, I bought him a pound for $28.99. I didn't pay much attention to it until I got it home, and noticed it felt much lighter than the Win296 I'd also bought. Containers are the same size, and the Trail Boss actually filled the container more, but it was only 9 ounces. Dang, that's some fluffy stuff.
