Thank you gents for the information. I was able to put it to good use this week on a bunch of loads. I've got a ton of 223/556 brass and i've been able to better separate headstamps lately! Thanks to everyone for their contributions to this list! So far my experience is that the data shown is correct!

I've got a bunch of TAA brass that is too thick. What do you guys do with it? I can load it then run it through my sizing die but that seems like a lot of work. Did about 6 this way and I'd guess the chance of getting a stuck case is fairly high.

Suggestions?

According to cartridgecollectors.org, the 'T' stamp is most likely Tula of Russia. This stamp had 15 samples, while 2 others had 1 each.

TAA is Taiwan. I have also done thousands of TAA headstamps and they work perfectly to the point I can't tell the difference between TAA or LC. I can tell the difference if it has been fired out of a M249 or AR. The ones fired out of a 249 tend to be harder to resize but what I found to make it easier is a carbide die with plenty of lube.

I've got about 250 converted Frontier head stamped brass that average .012 and have run flawlessly. Potential difference in manufacturer?

About 50% will just barely go in my Sheridan gauge when loaded with 125 grain Speer TNT. There is a ring just in front of the shoulder at the bottom of the neck. Just turned the necks on 50, 350 more to go.

100% in the Sheridan before loading.

I didn't see this on the list, but the MAST headstamp is definitely bad. Unfortunately, I loaded 100s of them before discovering this (and this thread). :x

Has anyone had trouble with GFL? Recently Hi-tech ammo has posted Primed GFL with neck splitting issues good for converting to blackout, I bought a 500 lot of them tried converting them and they would not chamber.
