Ive had good luck with 125gn Hornady SSTs loaded over 17.5gns of W296

2.097. Crimped lightly into the canallure (sp?)

Do you only seat it to 2.097" so you can use the cannelure?
I am only asking cause I am new and I just loaded 30 of these but pushed into 2.060" per the Hodgdon guide, used H110 also.
Just checking if I am ok or not. Also I have the Lee FCD and hadn't used it. Do you guys crimp all your loads for 300 AAC Blackout?

My rifle likes 125 SST over 17.8g W296 set at 2.168. Light crimp with LFC.

Both to make use of the cannilure and to set the bullet farther into the case for better stacking in the magazine.
Feeds great.. No real accuracy testing yet. Winter has set in but im guessing around 3/4 - 1 moa based on the shooting i have done
