Hi, New poster here but love the sight and all the info offered here. I picked up some RMR bullets. I got the 110gr RN to use in my BLK. My exact load was 19.5 gr Lilgun, Rem primer and an OAL of 1.900". The accuracy just flat out sucked. About a foot at 25 yds. I did notice they seem to be tumbling at 25. Anyone else using them? Any luck? I have a build with an AR stoner with 1:8" twist 16" barrel. It is really accurate with 150s. This barrel:

Thanks ahead of time for the advice.

No idea about those RMR's.
If I had to speculate, you're driving them WAY too fast and they are beginning to come apart.
You should not drive plated bullets faster than ~1500FPS.
According to the Sierra book, 19.5gr of Lil Gun is 1.0 grains over max book charge, and they have 18.5 listed as producing 2400fps, so....
If you want some 150's you can use for plinking, there is always these:

Also plated, so you'll need to watch your speeds with them as well. Use code 15offbullet to save 15%. I have 1000 of them on the way to me for $98.24
I figure if they don't work in my blackout, I'll load them in the wife's 30-30.

Did you try it, or are you speculating? It worked for me yesterday morning...EvilBetty wrote:I think that coupon code is dead now.exx1976 wrote:No idea about those RMR's.

Such short bullets do not do well with the 300blk due to the long freebore, not much difference than the Hornady shortjackets. I had atrocious groups with them, lucky if you could hit the broadside of a barn from the inside! LOL The group was larger than my cousins 12gauge shooting 00 buckshot, LOL.
I have the same barrel and it is a tack driver with the appropriate bullets.

Yeah, I'm worried about accuracy with them for sure. If I can get them to shoot minute of pop can at 100 yards, I'll be happy.
And again, if I can't, I load them in the better half's 30-30. She can barely hit the broadside of a barn with 150 Sierras, so she'll never know the difference anyway.

I am playing with some Speer 110gr JSP billets for the Handirifle, now I am wondering if the free bore will cause me a problem too but I am trying to keep them much slower.talonxracer wrote:Such short bullets do not do well with the 300blk due to the long freebore, not much difference than the Hornady shortjackets. Definitely. I was shooting Sierra 125s over Lilgun and they were pretty accurate. The AR stoner barrel came highly recommended for the price.talonxracer wrote: I have the same barrel and it is a tack driver with the appropriate bullets.
