It has been a long time to see these bullets for sale, but Natchez just now got Barnes TAC-TX 110gr bullets in-stock.

What bullet is it then?? I just noticed that the item # of the black tip is 30811 as you said but now on Natchez, they show that to be a 100gr bullet and are saying it is the 300BLK. The one I linked is .30 cal .308" 110gr Tac-TX™-FB 50/Box item 30851.

On the Barnes site, they have both of them listed as being 110gr TAC-TX rounds. Do you know the difference between the two? http://barnesbullets.myshopify.com/coll ... /tax-txtm/

I see that one is black tip with one groove and the other is blue tip with two grooves, but is there any other real difference between them?

The 30851 bullet is just a standard 30 cal bullet. The 30811 is the black tip specifically tapered for 300 AAC blkout.

Thanks for the info, they make it confusing with having the exact same name, no picture, and only a different part number.

Probably why they're still in stock, if it was the black tips they'd be OOS already.

Funny as internally when Barnes and I talk back and forth, we still call the black tip a T-TSX. We know it is different because we are talking about the black tip, or talking about the 300 BLK bullet.

Whats the product number on those ? Is it 30 SBR .308” 110 grain TAC-X FB SKU#30834 ? Cause they don't have any polymer tip at all. Or is it #30851 ? They have a blue tip. As far as I know, #30811 are the only ones with a black tip.

I haven't seen the Barnes store have the black tips in-stock in a LONG time; heck, anyone else for that matter.
