ROFL...yeah, they group 2 completely different 125 gr projectiles together. AND they think H110 will handle a heavier charge than Lil Gun...not only do I doubt Sierra’s published data, I refute it based on my own empirical evidence.

So...not so "official" in my book.

And...now that I take a second look, they have a OAL that is less than the co-designer of the 2121 projectile recommends...completely bogus data, obviously RUSHED out the door to satisfy demand. Too bad they didn't do it right.

I doubt their loads for the 125gr matchking with Lil Gun will even properly cycle the AR platform.

16.8 Lil Gun in a CMMG 16in barrel, 125 MatchKing, misc brass, some Rem preprimed from Midway, most mixed converted.223 with Wolf Primers, OAL 2.06. Fired 70 rounds at this point. All fully cycled and locked back on last round and reasonably accurate at 50 yd.

Will continue, but Lil Gun looks OK to me.

Who wants to start a Sierra load verification thread? I am limited on my loading/shooting time at the moment and only have the 125 gr SPH Spitzer and 200gr+ Sierra projectiles (which are not listed) or else I'd get the ball rolling.

How does this sound?

I've cycled >500 with no issues, and always locks open, 125gr SMK using:
17.4 H110/W296
Mixed converted .223 and new primed Remington brass
COL 2.21
Trim 1.358- 1.360
LFC 5/8 turn past contact
No Chrony
300AAC upper
Not as accurate as 125SST's, but my go to paper puncher.

Their published data Quantified what I have been doing.

If I could find them, CCI 41's for the thicker cup. With the exception of Remington 6 1/2's, I honestly can't tell any difference. With the 6 1/2's, I did experience several slam fires, then read their website that they are NOT for AR applications.

I'm not shooting the 125 gr. Sierra's, but have had a lot of success so far with the 150gr Gameking FMJBT and the 150gr HPBT Matchking.

I didn't have good luck with the 110 gr HP Sierra "Varmiter" when it came to function of the rifle, which was due to the short COAL. excellent accuracy but always jammed on the last round??

I have loaded both to the same tolr. given below with no pressure signs and great accuracy results out to 150 yds. Sorry no crono. data.

DD Carbine upper
H110 - 13.5 grns
Sierra - 150 grn FMJBT (Gameking) and 150 grn HPBT (Matchking)
COAL - 2.120"
Wolf Magnum Primers
Misc. .223 cases cut to size

I'm loading some Lil Gun as we speak, so I will post results after test fire.
We are surrounded....this simplifies our problem.
