Here is what I got

Sierra 125 gr match king #2121
OAL 2.210"
H4227 16.2-18.7gr
most accurate load at 18.7gr
LilGun 15.7-17.2gr
most accurate load at 17.2gr
Very cool, thanks for the info. It looks like I was right on track.

Isn't H4227 burn rate similar to H110?

H4227 is a little slower than H110 on the Hodgdon burn rate chart. You can see them here http://www.hodgdon.com/burn-rate.html

Has anyone checked the Hornady 9 th edition? There is load data for 300Whisper/Blkout. I loaded up 17 gr of Lil'gun and found it was too light. Settled on 18 gr..I don't have the manual in front of me, but I recall I still had a ways to go to reach max load with Lil'Gun. Or is my memory going?

18.7 is in white, 20.0 is listed as max load, in the Hornady manual for Lilgun and 125 to 130 gr. bullets

I recently ordered the Lyman 49th Edition Reloading Handbook and was not happy when I did not see 300 BLK even in the manual. Now I have ordered the Hodgdons 2013 Reloading Manual but have not received it yet and I am hoping it has the Sierra 125GR OTM covered in it.

I just checked. the only 125 gr. listed is the SST. The load data says 18.7 gr. on Lilgun should give you about 2000 FPS. 20.0 grs. is the max load and should give you about 2100 FPS

I think you will be disappointed in the Hodgdon's 2013 manual. It is my understanding that the only the Hodgons 2012 ANNUAL manual has the extra 300 BLK load data. I own the Hodgdon's 2012 Reloading, and the Hodgdon's 2013 Annual and they have less 300 BLK load data then their website does. I believe I read that the Hodgdons 2013 reloading manual was no different. I own the 2012 ANNUAL manual and It has extra load data. No Sierra 125 OTM in the 2012 Annual manual.

There is a listing for Sierra 125gr Spitzer SP
-IMR 4227. 17.5gr COAL 2.000 flying at 1884fps
Kind of a weird load and it is suppose to be near max load.

I believe that the only big boy's manual that has any 300 BLK load data is Hornady's 9th ed at this time.

Yeah sounds like I will have to get the Hornady's book and wait for the Sierra book to be updated according to the previous poster that had their recommended load information. It just blows my mind that it is taking a long time for there to be more information out there on 300 BLK.

Today I went to the range to test another work up of this round and I think this is the sweet spot and the load I will use for this bullet.

Noveske 300BLK
Pistol length gas system
10", 1:7
MagPul PMAG, 30RD
125 gr Sierra OTM
Hodgdon Lil'Gun 17.2gr
LC 5.56, reformed to 300BLK
CCI 400 Small Rifle
2.210" OAL
1/2 turn light crimp Lee FCD
No Chrono yet
Zero Issues on any of the loads. All feed, fire, and eject fine.
Bolt held open on last round.
I fired 10 rounds suppressed and 10 rounds unsuppressed
My suppressor is the AAC 762-SDN-6

I noticed that I wrote the wrong cartridge OAL on the target; the correct OAL is 2.210"
