I only have experience with the AP headstamped armscor 223. It wasn't great, but it's usable. I'm not sure I'd put in the effort to convert armscor 223 to blackout, not really worth it.

The A USA headstamped stuff might be different from the AP stuff, I have not run across that yet.

I only saw it casually mentioned but the brass from one of the top manufacturers, Lapua? TOO thick! That's a shame!

I don't know about you, but I'm not rich enough to feed my autoloaders Lapua brass. I can't afford to buy enough of it to keep me in ammo for one range trip, let alone have some "in stock".

exx1976.................I did not buy that Lapua, it was given to me...........only 50 pieces. I agree, it is too pricey for gas guns.

I just finished sorting 3000 223 cases that I bought offline. Most of the brass is LC, with some Winchester. About 90% of the brass will be cut into 300, the rest will remain 223 loads. There was some Russian (Tulammo and PRVI Partisan) as well as some Barnes and Hornady cases as well as some Ive never heard of. Those will remain 223.
