Give me the skinny. What does it have over H4198? Sub sonic load data?
Hey, Rl-7 has been a good Cast Lead bullet powder for years. I could not get it to cycle my AR at subsonic speeds with the 208 gr A-Max. I don't have 220's but that should work ... I used it for years in my 223 in a 14' barrel to keep the flash down from the 748 which I could take pictures with.
Makes no sense as it's supposed to be slower than A1680 and faster than H4198 10.3 gr with a 208 A-Max gave me 1029 FPS but would not hold bolt back... 10.5 gave me 1077 FPS in a 16" AR FYIis to fast and did not check if it reliably held bolt back on last shot.
