Free 300 AAC Blackout Brass!!! GONE!

Post by tbram88 »

OK here's the deal, I am new on this forum and no one knows me yet. in order to change that I will give out 25 pieces of reformed LC brass to the first 10 people to PM me with their shipping address.

There are several people selling 300Blk brass, and I'm throwing my hat into the ring as well. I do not have a big shop, all my brass is done by hand and I am not the cheapest but I think you will find that it is worth the price.

Here's what I do; I use once fired Lake City head stamp (various years) decap, and remove primer crimp, trim and size on a 300AAC Blackout die (not whisper) trim to 1.358(+/- 0.002). Then I run through full length re sizer die (LEE) to open up neck to correct size, polish, and lastly I anneal neck and shoulder at 750f.

Annealing is an important step when reforming brass, when you form that neck and then re size it that work makes the brass harder and the previously annealed part has been trimmed off. The brass should be annealed to soften it so that it lasts longer and resists splitting.

I can't crank it out by the ton but I have made several thousand and continue making more.

With all that being said, I have free brass samples to the first ten people who PM me with shipping address.
the only catch is you have to post on this thread and tell what you thought of it; good, bad, or other.

My prices are $25 P/ 100, $75 p/500, and $135 p/1000 shipped. I know there is cheaper brass out there, but with mine you can just load it and shoot it.

ETA. I wanted to mention that when it goes through the re sizing die case length may grow by up to 0.002

At the moment I am using an Anneal-Rite two torch manual setup with 750 degree Tempilaq. It is simple and works good.
It takes about 5 to 6 seconds per piece, the same setup I use for .223
I am saving up to get a Giraud, that way I can do other things while it's running.

All the best...Bob.
