How much crimp are you putting on these? I loaded up some 125s with H110 and had a lot of pressure signs even at 15grains until I reduced crimp to almost zero.... I don't see any of the same issues with the 110 VMAX bullets even at close to max loads.
thanks....

I have pulled a few factory rounds and got 19gr of what looks to my flawed unmagnified human eye to be h110. Can anyone comfirm this?

I called Sierra and they do not have data yet so...

My chrono data using 18.9/19 gr of h110 and a CCI450 primer with that bullet shows velocities of around 2190 fps with the Sierra 125 OTM bullet out of my 16" barrel. Remington advertises 2215 fps so 19 gr of h110 is probably in the ballpark of what they are using.

No matter what you read on the intarweb CCI450s and CCI41s ARE NOT BALLISTICALLY IDENTICAL with H110! I'm also not a intarweb lawyer so I don't argue with anyone who is.

I am using Hornady 110 Vmax bullets over 19.5 grains of H110 in Remington cases. Vel = 2274 fps out of my 12.5 inch barrel AR. SD of 17. The new Hornady reloading manual #9 show 20.2 as max load.

I had GREAT results with H-110 and Lilgun powders with Hornady 110 Grn V-Max bullets, but went to crap with 125 grain Nosler B/T at most of the Hodgdon listed loads. Going to do a lot more testing to try to figure out why ?

16" Stainless, 1:8 twist bbl in a Sota Arms Upper w/ YHM lower, and I am guessing a carbine length gas system.
Brass from Brad's, trimmed to 1.350, CCI # 41 primers. I am using the only load data I have found, 1 single page from Hodgdons which leaves out everything from 135 grn to 220 grn bullet weight.
Sota Arms Upper, 16" S/S w/muzzlebrake/flash hider.
Carbine length gas w/1:8 twist, free float barrel.
YHM complete lower, CAA 6 position stock.
RRA Stainless Bolt ASSY. Load test optic for now.

Tried the factory Remington 125 OTM, with my 8.2" Noveske, and achieved a five shot group of .92" @ 100 yards.

I then set up a test box with Nosler 125s (blems), with H110 and Lil Gun. I had one group of .95" with 17 grains of H110, but had to make it the best four out of five shots to equal the Rem. load. The rest of the varying powder weights with H110 and Lil Gun had worse results, shooting up to approx. 2 3/4". There were some primer pressure signs at around 18 grains with both powders. I did use a light to medium crimp on the bullets, while using Rem. primed brass.

The blem Nosler bullets look real good appearance wise. Either they aren't up to snuff, or possibly the Nosler 125s just don't perform as well as the Remington OTR bullets. Maybe it's something else.
