Looking some load data with the Barnes 110gr TTSX bullet.
So far i've been up to 20.2gr H110 with 2.05" COAL using WSR primers.
Wasn't pleased with the accuracy of the load and want some other ideas.
Shooting out of a 16" Noveske Rogue Hunter.

Do you have a chronograph? If so what were the speeds you were getting, and what was the deviation?
I don't think many are using the barnes, most are using the hornady or SMKs .
Also what was the accuracy you were getting? Small groups with flyers? No groups? 1,2,5 moa?

20.4 is max load, your at 20.2, maybe drop to 19 and work up to 20.4

Just don't go over 2400 fps.

Hornady loaded their 110 V-MAX to 2375 fps. That is probably close to max SAAMI pressure.
Maybe you can get up to 2450 if you are willing to do the usual hand-loader "load until I see signs of pressure" method, but it won't be below 55,000 psi.

Re: 110gr Barnes TTSX: Looking for a good load with H110
Here are some loads that I shot today using only W296 powder. They are all 110gr. Barnes TTSX 30871 bullets. They are all loaded with Remington 71/2 primers. The brass is all trimmed to 1.355 and the OAL was set to 2.160. All loads were crimped using the Lee 300 Blk crimper. All of these loads were shot out of a 16" DCA barrel. Chrono was at 10 feet.
None of the brass looked that bad. None of the primers were flat past the round edge.
Here is the loading data and the results from the range.
110gr. Barnes TTSX 30871 OAL 2.160 Rem: 71/2
W296 18.7 2164 2170 2183 2171 2147 SD: 12.1 Avg: 2167
W296 19.1 2207 2237 2246 2192 2225 SD: 20.9 Avg: 2221
W296 19.3 2220 2215 2264 2225 2237 SD: 18.5 Avg: 2232
W296 19.5 2203 2263 2293 2295 2272 SD: 33.4 Avg: 2265
W296 19.7 2315 2313 2328 2318 2313 SD: 5.2 Avg: 2317
Remember, this is from my rifle and if you are working up some loads please be careful. I don't see a need to start lower than these, but use caution. My goal is to explore the upper limits for each powder/bullet combination that I am interested in using. I did not find it with these loads. I will load a few more of this powder then on to maybe H110 or Lil'Gun. All of these loads where easy to shoot and functioned 100% in my rifle. There was no pressure signs anywhere. I am liking the 19.7 load and maybe a 19.8 or 19.9. I am not looking for the max load to load and shoot, I am doing it just for information. I am looking for a small SD and/or the load that performs the best in my rifle. This load, more than likely, will not be the max load, it almost never is.
Please be careful, and enjoy this information. This loading data is experimental and is here for your information only! This data is not meant to be taken as safe loads that all can use. I am going to the upper limits carefully, so you don't have too. Please don't use this data as is, treat it as the possible upper bounds as it might be in your rifle.
