finalized my load for plinking today...

8.5" pistol length 1:7 barrel
carbine buffer/spring
cool 55 degrees out, no breeze

Hornady 150gr FMJ-BT #3037
H110 16.1gr
COAL 2.180
Min-1763 Max-1826 Avg-1794

Shot a group of 2.076" @ 100yrds, front rail was supported, rear was shouldered. did use a crappy scope on a marginal mount... noticed when I reset the trigger I would see a shift in the crosshairs thru the scope! need to investigate that, but it's a $99 scope I'm using until my Vortex 4-16FFP shows up (for my .308 - a red dot lives on the 300BLK)

Also tested some M80 147gr loads, and seemed the 16.1gr of H110 also worked the best for accuracy.

Time to mass produce some plinking ammo!

208gr Amax
10.7gr Accurate 1680
CCI #41 Primers
2.120 OAL

Functions 100% (cycling & BHO) suppressed or unsuppressed in my 8.2" Noveske. I'm using a milspec carbine buffer spring and an H2 buffer. I also use the same load for Hornady 208gr BTHP Match bullets.

9" AAC Upper 1:7 (pistol length gas system) on a pistol lower.

My loads:

Supersonic

110gr VMAX, LC cases, WSR primers, COAL 2.05, 20 grs H110, 2256 fps
130gr Hornady SP, LC cases, WSR primers, COAL 2.10, 19 grs H110, 2085 fps

Subsonic

208 Hornady HPBT, LC cases, WSR primers, 2.25 COAL, 8.2 grs H110, 1042 Fps Suppressed

I laddered from 7.8 grs to 8.6 graines of H110. FPS 927 to 1086 . All cycled fine. Only issue was that it would not always lock the bolt back on last round. I cannot find A1680 or other powder for the sub loads so I tried the H110. Good enough for me!

Well, it's been 3 years and I'm still wondering what bullet this is for

Oh well, thanks (I guess?)
