Re: Share your 300 Blackout Loads here>
After looking at the load data sent to me I am leaning towards a1680 and re7 for 150 and 180g projectiles. Question is out of a 9 inch barrel will those loads generating 1350 to 1650 fps be enough to cycle my gun if subs will not cycle it. I want to load somwere in the middle since I wont be hunting and I do not have a 308 can yet. Also in the above loads it says similar profile and while searching bullets I noticed some have boattails and some do not. Will that make a difference in a load. Sorry I am new to reloading so I really don't know how close to " similar profile" I need to be.

Supersonic 150gr and 175gr loads cycle just fine in our barrels.

I tried some AA#7 powder in my 16" barrel Model1Sales AR. The chamber has been reamed to 300BLK. I had to go all the way down to 8.6gr of AA#7 to keep 220gr Hornady RNSPs and 220gr SMKs between 1000 - 1050fps. Of course it will not cycle the action but it doesn't seem to be that much quieter than 1680 powder. I'm going to use the sound meter to measure & compare.

Anyone ever ask Model 1 Sales why they are still making wildcat barrels when SAAMI picked a final spec 6 months ago? I suppose they will eventually notice.

A big roger to that one. I have shot over 2K 150gr rounds through my 16" Noveske. Not a single jam, miss fire, cycle issue, or bolt not locking to the rear on an empty mag. If anyone is having cycling issues with their Noveske barrel its not the barrel, trust me.-k- wrote:Supersonic 150gr and 175gr loads cycle just fine in our barrels.

Going along with Western Powder's data, it saying 19.3 is max for the v-max 110g. Is this safe to assume for H110 as well?? I know there is no known published data for H110. I know brad loaded one up to 21.4. I guess what i am asking is, what is a safe max load for a new loader to stop at LOL.
