I've had good luck with the following for a plinking round.

147gr M80 pulldowns, seated to the cannelure (don't have the COL in front of me)
LC converted brass
16.5gr H110
CCI 400 primers

Runs 1955fps (ES of 35fps) from my 16" CMMG barrel, 1-1.5 MOA accuracy.

ES in the 50's :|

The M80 ball load looks like a fun load. The M2 has a little more room for powder. so you can get a tad more FPS at the same PSI. and at close to or at 2000 FPS is a mean round. *I* would not want to get hit by one.. and they will penetrate like crazy.
Long distance, the next best thing to being there!

Yeah, I load with an RCBS Chargemaster that unfortunately is just about right in front of the window-mounted A/C in the basement. Probably about an 0.1-0.2 grain fluctuation either way right now. Can't wait till I get to turn that thing off. I'll be testing the 150 Nosler Ballistic Tip on Monday, maybe the Hornady 150 FMJ too. If I can get a 150 up to 2000 that would be a good go-to load.

pomofo,

When I run this in QL, I get different numbers, so what was the case trimmed to? I use 1.360 and the following numbers are the result:

36,867 psi
1,273 fps

For these estimates I'm using a case length of 1.356, case capacity of 24.53 grains with the default weighting factor of 0.6. I think that was the initial case capacity measurement I made way back when. I'm also using version 3.5 (updated from 3.4) of Quickload. I know that I've seen variations of a few thousand psi between version 3.4 on my work computer and 3.5 on my home computer, but the discrepancy between your numbers and mine is a little odd. Your psi numbers, though, are more in line with what I've seen from Accurate's load manual.

ETA: Let me try to take a quick screenshot.
