First, I'd like to say I'm a huge fan of the members on this site. I have read through a lot of threads the last 3 weeks and found valuable information from you guys. Thank you for your experimentation and efforts to push the boundaries of the 300 blackout
My question, which I'm still going back and forth on, is when working with this combo of 190 gr sub X and N110, what's a good load length to consider when using this for a 6.5" AR barrel to cycle? I'm going to start with 10 gr, 9.5 gr, 9 gr, and 8.5 gr to figure out what my velocities will be.
I've saved some information from Dellet about port pressure and peak pressure, but just looking for what seating depth you guys would start with first.

Tested N110 just a minute ago. I love this powder. Definitely more quiet and way cleaner. Velocities as follows:
10 gr - 1111
9.5 gr - 1073
9 gr - 1028, 1023
8.5 gr - 996, 980
All functioned and BHO. Going to test between 8.5 gr and 9.5 gr. I have a hunch I'll be 9 gr +- .1 gr. Accuracy at 10 yards was a ragged hole, going to see about 50 yards next time.

Re: 190 gr sub X and N110
Well, this is obvious... I think you need to load a bunch of test rounds that use one powder charge for testing. Or load a mess of each powder charge. If I used a public range that I needed to drive to I'd do the latter. The reject loads can always be disassembled either in the firearm or at the (un)loading bench.

I agree. I've loaded up 10 rounds of 8.7 and 10 rounds of 9.1. Going to explore those and I'll post data here when I get it.

Any suggestions? Going to test at 100 yards next
