Case minimum length question

Post by VENT625 »

First, this question is in regards to 30 carbine brass. I purchased some on GB that were advertised at de-primed, sized and ready to reload. The brass came and looks really good. Seeing as I really dont trust other people's measurements, I measured a good quantity of them and they fell below the minimum case length of 1.280. Most of the cases I measured fell between 1.260 and 1.272. These were purchased with the intent of reloading them for my 30 carbine Ruger Blackhawk. I was planning on resizing them to see if I could get them to the 1.280 minimum.......but will that stretch the brass to thin on the side walls? Thanks in advance!!
