Please check me out on this 125g Maker bullet

I got to looking at the Maker bullet offerings and spied these 125s. I wrote asking this in an email, but due to the present industry production insanity I don't expect a reply (It's been a few days).

I'm thinking the solid would make for a good practice round for the expander. I'm thinking the ballistics would be so similar as to be meaningless, would you expect the same? They'll be used in a AR 10" pistol.

Hmmm, I thought there was a picture to go with the listing the other day.

Maker came out with a line of bullets that are exactly the same with the exception of the skivving that forms the expansion. Same bullet without the cuts.

You should be fine with that plan.
