110 grain FB-AT by Alco Bullets aluminum tipped, cant find anything here, did anyone ever try them in 300?

I have shot the 125,150’s and would have confidence in the 110’s.
When I shot the bullets, there was a choice of aluminum or steel tips. I shot the aluminum. I don’t think they worked out to well in an AR. The tips are needle points and I think they bent some times feeding. I know that some got blunted in the magazine.
In a bolt action they were excellent and that’s what I bought them for.
Search out member savageshooter23. He did a lot of work with the 150 grain and had great results hunting. In his posts he will refer to the maker as Whiskey3precision. Alco made the bullets, and that jackass got in the middle of things trying to be a big shot. Made promises and claims when he should have kept his mouth shut.
I dealt directly with Al and it worked out fine.
With that said, it was 5 years ago and he was in Arizona, now they seem to be in Missouri. Not sure what that means if anything. If the product is something you’re interested in, I think it would worth trying.
