Powder adjustments

When you all make powder grain adjustments to a new test load what grain changes do you make .2 .3.,5? before going to the range.

my first round of testing on a new bullet/load is in 0.5gr increments for the powder charge.

if i feel the need to go back for a 2nd round of fine tuning for that specific load, i narrow down the charge range (min/max for the text, based on my first round testing) and typically go to a 0.2 gr intervals.


for 80% of the loads i work up... i find satisfactory results in the first round of 0.5gr testing.
