Primers ?

Post by Srt4ever »

Anyone have a plug or know where I can find some primers at ? At this point I probably would be luckier striking oil in my backyard.

Seriously about to start digging in the backyard for that oil, maybe then I can afford those gun broker prices.

If you can afford the prices, there are plenty on Gunbroker. The going rate is around $150- $200. per thousand. Or about 5x the pre-panic prices.

But if you need'em now, then there is no substitute except to wait.

I'm not buying yet, as I have a few thousand SRM & LRM & LP. But if I keep shooting, I soon will. Then unless things loosen up, $150. per thousand may seem cheap.

Wow, for $200/1000 I would have to seriously consider letting some go.. LOL

Hopefully, primers will hit the shelves 1st quarter, but I'm not holding my breath. With Plugs being inserted in the WH, I look for it to get worse before it gets better. I'm just glad I stocked up when I did. My memory is not so short that i don't remember this happening four years ago.

the problem is... you have to be hazmat certified to ship them. you cant just walk into UPS/Fedex and pay a hazmat fee. so yea...

My best luck has been just showing up. I didn’t buy any, but may go back and do so, but a local shop (well, within 30 miles) had CCI 41 on the shelf...$50/brick. Pricy...but the first I’ve seen on a shelf since March. I’m thinking those CCI 41s would serve just fine for 300BO.

They had CCI 550s as well...so I grabbed 2 bricks, again, just grabbing what’s available when it is. They were $38.28/brick.
