this was just the thread i was looking for... i will be forming cases from LC brass and using the berrys 30-30 round shoulders. whats the proper COAL for cfe blk.? according to hodgdon the COAL should be 2.235"but the berry's projectile is shorter than the hornady bullet listed.
edit: i will be using a AR platform that has m4 feedramps

I can’t get these to feed. They always end up jammed across the chamber as if the tip of the bullet pops up too much.

I recently loaded up some of the 30-30 RS bullets with a start load of WW296. COL was set at 1.950. Perfect feeding and function.
Also tried 1.900 and it worked with my AR just fine.
