Hornady 155 gr Match bullet with Crimp Groove

Anyone using this bullet? Is the crimp groove in the right place for the 300 Blackout?

The bullet number is 3039C.

As I recall, no the crimp groove is not suited for 300 BLK, but darned few are.

Don't pay any attention to the "crimp groove" or cannulure . Check your cartridge base to ogive , check your chamber and if loading in an AR your constricted to 2.26 anyway. Still a good Idea to do the first two as some bullets will jam into the lands pretty far at 2.26. I know dellet has played with some Palma bullets at 155, not sure if they were yours. A simple check with a Hornady modified case, the mod case tool and the bullet will tell you in a few minutes.
