Need a Plinking Bullet
The Barnes Blacktip are nice, but twice the price of most everything else. What's a good performer in the same weight range for plinking, shooting paper, etc that won't break the bank?

I use Speer TnT 125gr...sorry, but none of my 300blk guns like any 110gr bullet. I have been able to get them recently as low as 13 - 14 cents each.

Nosler 110 grain Varmageddon from here when they have them.

Sign up to receive a notice when they get them in and buy some as soon as you get the notice. They fly great and fairly close to same impact point as the Barnes.

Midway usa has the 110gr varmageddon in stock for 23.40 per 100. I found some 150gr FMJ that shoot pretty damn good from my 10.5". Can usually find them cheap. I've found some great deals on the website link he posted.

Wideners.com. Speer TNT. 125 gr. $75 per 500. Sometimes in sale. Great bullet.

M80 FMJ in 500 or 1000 round lots when they run sales on it for .125 a pop.
If you are going to be super cheap and you have a rifle that has smooth feed ramp, you can buy .30 carbine 110 gr RN qty 1000 for around $95 to reload. Some have steep unforgiving feed systems of 300 BLK that don't like short round bullets.
.30 carbine for 300 BLK are best for 100 yards or less, they lose velocity fast past 100 yards and accuracy is not consistent.

Berrys plated AK bullets. Blems directly from Berrys when available are about the cheapest around.
I run them through 308 sizer. Many don't, they still work fine.
