I've loaded and killed deer with the 110gr TTSX (blue tip), out of my 16" barrel I chronyed it at 2370fps so it was flying well fast enough to work within 100yds for me. I loaded 2.160 COAL and 19gr Lil'Gun. I Can't remember if that was a published load way back in a hodgdon's yearly magazine or one I baked up but it is what I have written down. Work up this load safely if you want to give it a try :)

I measured it 20 times tonight and still get the same numbers. I will load oal 2.250 and down in small increments to watch pressure signs.

Load a round at 2.250-60 or longer if you want.

Push it into the chamber with your finger, it should fall out under its own weight. This is easy to do if you pull the upper and remove the bolt.

Factory loaded round
2.250” COL
1.505” CTBO

Touching lands in SAAMI spec chamber.
2.410” COL
1.660”
300 Blackout, not just for sub-sonics.
