All,
Looking for advice on a good powder for a 9mm sub load for Hornady 147 XTPs. Will be shooting it out of a 4"ish barrel, not a carbine.

Not your bullet but I'm using 3.0gr of Tite Group under a 165gr X-Treme bullet, croney's @ around 850 fps out of my 5" SBR.
I have some 147gr Acme's I haven't tried yet.

3.6 grains of Vihtavuori N320 runs around 930FPS out of my suppressed 4-1/2 barreled AR. It shoots clean and quiet.

I use 3.5 gr of Bullseye for 147gr xtps.
Yes, I am a Baptist, and yes I carry a gun. You might think I carry a gun because I don't trust God. Well you would be wrong. I have complete faith in my Lord. It is mankind I have no trust in

Hogdon load data says titegroup has a starting load of 3.2 and max of 3.6.
I never had a problem with 3.2 cycling anything. Even big heavy open bolt subguns. Further, like Brutis, I am loading anywhere between 2.8-3.0 gr titegroup with 165's.

When those totally ignorant of firearms make laws, you end up with totally ignorant firearm laws.
