There is nothing in hunting regs in Texas about suppressors for shots under 75 yards.

Do a Google search on these terms: Texas law, subsonic, sensitive wildlife, and 300BLKtalk.com
You’ll find it if you read closely.

Some of you guys really worry me
How about, in NC there is a law that if you miss a deer your next hunt must be conducted naked except for an orange hat. Google that

Hmmm You may have a point there. I sure don't want to break the law so I'll hunt just over 80 yards so I can hut supersonic. Besides, my shot will be the last thing they hear anyway.bangbangping wrote:I believe there is a new Texas law that if your max range is 75 then you must hunt subsonic. Thanks again.
Seriously, if that's your range it may be something to consider. Tons of fun, although it is more challenging.
I am hoping to have a great deal of fun plinking and hunting with this 300Blk pistol. Thanks for the fun reply.

Some "DUH" questions if you don't mind sir:smustian wrote:You will find that H110 works best in the top part of the published load data so load your test ladder accordingly. For example, if max load is 18.0 grains, then I would load 17.2, 17.4, 17.6, 17.8, 18.0g as my ladder then go see how they performed.NativeTexan1944 wrote: I do not plan to load to max but perhaps 1 or 2 grain(s) lower. 1. Where may I find the published data for H110?
2. Which primer would be the one I should use: 400 or 450? I know 450 is a magnum primer.Would I need that hot of a primer for 18 grains of powder?
Thank you.
