Brass question
So I’m finally getting around to loading my 300blk. Most of my loading is just having fun at the range. However I do hunt hogs in Texas. I have a ton of LC that I can cut. I do have about 300-400 rounds of once fired (mostly by me) in Hornady, ficcochi, and Remington. I have some never fired lapua as well. For hunting I really don’t want to use the lapua because I don’t want to pick up brass. I want to go through some of what I have before putting the lapua in rotation at the range. I’ve looked all over the interwebs and most of the info I get is 3 or more years old. People say Remington is crap. Winchester is meh, Hornady (ether people hate it or they love it) and federal (branded) is crap. I didn’t find anything on converted LC brass. Nothing on ficcochi. What are the opinions of those loading 300blk a lot? I am using a foster die. Oh and I’m not oppose to it but I’ve never annealed my life.
Re: Brass question
I would estimate over 50% of my brass is converted LC. Never had a problem.
Re: Brass question
I only use LC brass for 300blk.

Re: Brass question
I only use random brass for plinking. I stick to sorted LC brass for load development and consistency.

Re: Brass question
there's lots of usable options, but like the other folks - my 300 blk brass (unless its factory) is all LC brass.
no fuss, no thinking about it, and i've had great results so far with it
