I was going through some of my .308 150 grain Hornady interlocks I just got, and found this in the box. It's a .50 cal 300 Grain XTP. I believe it would cause a slight bulge in the case...and barrel for that matter. :)

Haha!

Friend of mine had a box of 44 mags & one bullet got seated backwards. Looked like a jacketed wadcutter. I told him to keep it for the novelty, he touched it off in his Ruger.
WTB: exotic ammo! AP, tracers, etc. Money waiting, whatcha got?

That's karma. If you don't already have a 500 S&W, you now have a good excuse to go buy one. Don't waste that expensive bullet.

high velocity in barrel swaging is not recommended :mrgreen:
