I just received my order from SouthwestAmmunition (200 rnds of 220gr SMK Subsonic)... It was shipped from Mesa, AZ... Not sure what the deal is there though.

So south west ammunition has the black tip Barnes 110gr tac-tx loaded ammo for 23.99 a box. Anyone know if is this the same bullet used in the, soon to come, Barnes vortex, optimized for the 300blk?

Have an order in with Southwest since Feb 19th no ammo yet but they may be a little swamped with orders as my order was for the Barnes 110 grain.

Wow... I had a totally different experience... I placed my order for 200 rounds of 220 grain SMK subsonic on 4th of February and received it with in a week. There was a problem with a couple of rounds with improperly seated primers, but Zach made it right with me. He didn't try to blame anyone and accepted that it was a QC issue. He also sent me 20 rounds of the Barnes Black Tip.

I haven't shot any yet, but hope to have range report in the near future.

Give them a call. Anytime I called, Zach answered the phone promptly.

I plan to give them a call tomorrow the site says in stock so far not very impressed by their service.If they have not shipped will cancel and go elswhere should have heard something from them.I ordered 300 magnums as well.

Let us know what you find out. I also have an order with them and haven't heard anything... but I haven't been waiting nearly as long as you have.

Gave them a call this morning about 10 am their time just a voice recorder was all I heard.I left them a message with name phone and order number but yet to hear from them.
