Seems like this had to have been asked already, but maybe I’m just doing the Google site search with wrong terms. I’d like to get some reasonably priced bulk ammo to start out with my 9” BMC pistol, but something that’s good brass for reloading afterwards. Leaning towards subsonic, but this stuff may be gone by the time the can gets out of jail anyways so not a must.
Is the American Eagle decent? Sellier & Bellot? Others? Maybe I’m looking at an unrealistic combo between loaded ammo that’s also good brass for reloading, but I’d appreciate any recommendations you all have - thanks!

I've been reloading Remington UMC brass without any problems. The super sonic is cheap if you get it at Wally world. The sub isn't much more but may be a little harder to get.

If you have a Sportsmans Warehouse close, both of these are good deals, Remington and Hornady brass is fine to reload.
Federal brass is also very good

300 Blackout, not just for sub-sonics.
Re: Factory bulk ammo w/reloadable brass?
Maybe it's because I convert all mine from LC brass but I haven't looked into this. Wouldn't any factory brass case be good to reload seeing as it is already a 300Blk? Are there some factory cases out there that are sub-par?

Probably stating the obvious here, but just in case - I always go to AmmoSeek https://ammoseek.com/ and/or gunbot http://www.gunbot.net/looking for deals. They usually have some good bulk offers.
EDIT: And of course, go to Shoooters' Pro Shop http://www.shootersproshop.com/ for Nosler blemished/overruns. Nosler brass is of good quality.

Re: Factory bulk ammo w/reloadable brass?
It all reloads, some lasts longer than others. Some it depends on the factory load. Subs it’s generally safe to assume the first firing was low pressure. Supers not so much. Had some Fiocchi with loose primers after the factory load, S&B that only lasted 3 firings.
Personally I’m a fan of Norma, I get more firings from that any other brass I’ve tried in loads that exceed max by 10% or more. Not uncommon to retire the cases to subs only after a dozen firings.
The older Remington was tough, since Barnes took it over, not as much.
Chamber tolerances and how you resize has a lot to do with how long it lasts, I do absolute minimum.

Re: Factory bulk ammo w/reloadable brass?
Thanks everyone! I run Lake City brass for 5.56 and .308, and followed a similar pattern of buying bulk Federal ammo to have something fun to shoot in the beginning and then have Lake City brass afterwards to reload. I’ll start keeping my eye out for good deals on Federal or Hornady perhaps, and maybe order some once fired fully processed stuff since I just don’t have the time to convert 5.56 right now (or hardly time to reload period recently).
