300 Blackout, not just for sub-sonics.
Re: Hornady 190 Grain Sub
No excuses, get to a dime man. Subs or supers - get to it. We need more folks shooting tiny targets, you have the skills -DO IT!!!!dellet wrote:Nicely done ozleux.
I wonder when it tumbled? I remember watching Hornady’s video and in the slow motion you could see that it turned when the bullet stopped as the gel contracted.
Nice shooting by the way. But you forgot to put a dime up for the 6th shot.
You can't beat the mountain, pilgrim. Mountains got its own way.
Re: Hornady 190 Grain Sub
Just returned home from a quick range session with my Sandman-S suppressor. First tested subs and supers with just the adapter to insure no issues. Also had to adjust to the left a few clicks with my Sig Romeo5. Then tried with suppressor. No issues with all ammo I shoot, 190 sub, 110 V-Max supers and Barnes 110 Tac supers. No shift in POI. No key holes. I am zero'd at 50 yards. Even the supers didn't require hearing protect. Is louder than subs though. Am impressed so far with the Sandman-S. Perfect size for my 10 inch barrel 300BO.
Re: Hornady 190 Grain Sub
Since Hornady won’t sell these bullets for us reloaders, is there any other 190 grain pill for subsonic use?

One is cheaper, 100 count, and out of stock. Other is expensive, in stock and 194gn. May be able to find other places like Midway and the like.
I have no experience with these as I am waiting on my own can right now and don't reload yet.

Re: Hornady 190 Grain Sub
Will check out the maker bullets but can buy 3 boxes of Hornady 190 subs for the cost of the makers. Maybe if we can get allot of folks to call Hornady and complain, maybe they will do it. I talked to Hornady shortly after release and was told they have no plans to sell the bullets for the near future. Thanks for pointing out those bullets. Hate to go a different grain since my BO is shooting great with the 190 grain subs from Hornady.
