Been Tokarev shopping lately? Prices have been climbing, just like everything else. Not even in the same class though, energy-wise or cool-factor.
Only one centimeter short, darn.

Go big or go home, i suppose

Check out the chamberings and prices.
Dang I've been screaming BFR BFR BFR all along in this thread and come to find out they already make in in 300 for only $1.5k which is a third of the cost of what your gunsmith wants to do a Taurus. Oh and FWIW I've shot a few BFR's in the past. Not quite Freedom Arms quality but miles ahead of a Ruger.

I got linked to a Desert Eagle there, BFRs show a 30-30 chambering, but I'm not seeing a 300blk. Am I missing something?

Aha, I clicked Gol's link, thinking yours was a quote of his, your link does take me there, and there's a .458 SOCOM option. I gotta stop...

I had a CZ 52 in 7.62x(25),talk about a flamethrower. Really got interesting at the range. It died when the front of the slide broke off.(fixed)

I think you meant 7.62x25.

Although I did picture a brief moment of open carrying an 9" 300 blackout revolver with Barnes 110 Blacktips and a Trijicon RMR.

Wouldn't the bottle neck case be forced backwards against the beech face causing problems with the cylinder rotating?

Probably not since Magnum Research actually makes it.

So that might be a better question for them since they have made it, shot it, and sell it.
