I JUST GOT A 300 BLACKOUT, IT TOOK ABOUT 3 1/2 WEEKS TO GET ALL WORKED OUT GREAT I WOULD BUY FROM THEM AGAIN

Hi everyone, I stumbled on this thread while researching Daytona tactical. Very informative on at builds in general. I have a question I hope is easy to answer. Can you build an AR like Ken did and swap out the upper with a 308 upper? I'd like to be able to go between 5.56 and 308 with the same lower if I can.

If it doesn't splatter, shatter, burst, boing or explode, it's not worth shooting.

strobro is correct.

The magazine well on the 308 is much longer, which means the smaller 556 AR15 won't work.

308 are called AR10
223 are called AR15

Two entirely different receivers (upper and lower) altogether.
When those totally ignorant of firearms make laws, you end up with totally ignorant firearm laws.
