I've been wanting to do a BLK Shrike for a while now, buddy just bought one so it may happen soon. Will have to sacrifice a barrel though, need the extension/gas block as they are proprietary.

Unless someone knows someone at Ares and can get me some parts, would be happy to sign an NDA if that were a possibility.

Anyway, if you want to do subs, just keep in mind it needs LOTS of gas to move all those parts/advance the belt. I had to develop a patent-pending gas system for the SAW - BUT - it works if you put in the effort, so that's the good news.

Anyway, if someone wants me to make one of these things - just let me know.

Pretty cool gun, but I'm not sure how happy it would make me if I saw LE with it. Military I can understand, but not LE. Unless of course I could have one too.

Preaching to the choir on that one.......I agree

There is no legal reason that most people couldn't own the barrel/suppressor and a semi SAW though.
