Well, look what I found. A replacement barrel nut for the Ruger American rifle, in either blued or stainless for a very reasonable price.

So anyone who feels adventurous can take a crack at this job at home. No big deal if you ruin the factory nut 'cause you used a pipe wrench getting it off.
